Subscapularis

Origin = Anterior surface of the scapula.

Insertion = Lesser tuberosity of the humerus.

Action = Inwardly rotates the GH joint.

Note: This muscle also acts along with the teres minor and infraspinatus in partipating with the deltoid during abduction and flexion.
